Boil Water Rescind Notice

On 2-17-21, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) required our public water system Harris County Mud No. 238, PWS ID TX1012361 to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform our customers that due to the presence of contaminants or an interruption in service, water from our system must be boiled prior to consumption.

Our system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore adequate pressure, disinfectant levels, and/or bacteriological quality and has provided TCEQ with testing results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling as of 2-19-21.

If you have questions, contact Cameron King at 281-355-1312; or TCEQ at 512-239-4691.

Public Notice (Boil Water Conditions)

Due to inclement weather conditions, the District is currently under a Boil Water Notice.

To ensure the destruction of harmful bacteria and other microbes as a result of frozen/broken water pipes and low system pressure, water for drinking, cooking, and making ice should be boiled for a minimum of two minutes and then cooled prior to use. You may also purchase bottled water or obtain water from some other suitable source.

When boiling water is no longer required, this notice will be updated to advise the water is safe for consumption. For more information, please review the following:
